Great place to stop and get information about what CO offers as well as a nice free cup of joe. Maps of many mountain trails along with the state map can be found here. Information about attractions and resorts also.

Great place when you just came into the state. There are maps for every place that you did not know it existed. The restrooms are clean and the Asian lady at the information desk was super sweet and nice. So make sure you stop, empty your bladder and get some maps and shit.

Stopped in to check out the welcome center and my family and I were greeted by Harold. He asked where we were headed and showed us all of the best things in the area. He sent us off with a Colorado map and great ideas for our vacation. We couldn't have asked for a nicer welcome. Thank you Harold!

Nice and quiet place to stop of fire a break or to sleep for the night in your vehicle. From what I saw there is no tent camping in this area but if you can make sleeping in your vehicle work this is a great place to do so. There is also a somewhat interesting little museum and visitors center here.

I've lived in Colorado my whole life and not surprisingly, this is my first time stopping at a welcome center. I was heading back home from Texas and needed a pit stop. This was the perfect place at the right time. Lots of greenery, trees and pretty things to look at. I love spring in Colorado! The inside of the welcome center is well appointed. There are huge bathrooms that are gender specific, as well as a family bathroom. There are water fountains, one of which is for filling water bottles. If you are new to the altitude, drink lots of water, it will help. They have a little kitchenette here where you can get a hot cup of coffee or tea. Then you can sit down at their dining table and enjoy your hot beverage. If you prefer, there are soda machines outside. This welcome center has a wealth of information! Every sort of map, guide, and thing-to-do brochure that you can imagine. They are all divided up by region so you can pick out specific interests or just get a map of all of Colorado. If you have little ones with you, there is an adorable little playroom to give them a break from the road. If your kids are furry there is plenty of green space to walk them or just yourself around. It was really pleasant to see that they have a free little library where you can grab a book and take it with you. So if you stop by and have an extra book, this might be a great place to leave it. The staff here is incredibly friendly and ready to help find whatever you need about Colorado. If you need a break from the road this is a great place to do it!
