I'm going to share with you all, two of the most important words travelers all over this country, nay all over this world want to hear about a rest stop. This particular rest stop had the cleanest restrooms I'd ever used! Now let's face it, when traveling far away from home and nature calls no one wants to do their business in a facility that feels so nasty to be in it's, well it's unnatural. These facilities were impeccable and for those like myself who have children who seem to need to use the restroom at what feels like is every other exit, this place by all means was the best on my endeavor.

The caretaker was extremely tolerant of my 4 year old's curiosity! She helped him see what a few things did and he had lots of fun picking her brain about the rest area. It was very clean and welcoming when we came in amd we got to see them doing their jobs. The stalls all had toilet paper, the sinks worked and the soap dispensers were full. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and worked well. The snack and drink machines were well stocked and the one computer that didn't work was clearly marked. The outside was gorgeous, there was a beautiful covered patio with benches to sit and eat or just to unwind from long car rides. The flowers were well maintained and beautifully displayed. Normally I wouldn't rate a rest area because they are usually get in and get out, but the employees and the layout were very memorable.

As soon as you walk in the entryway you see a history of binary computers etched into the tile. John Vincent Atanasoff is credited with inventing the first electronic digital computer at Iowa State University from 1939 to 42. You are able to get up to the minute highway road and weather conditions with an interactive display computer. Great little computer history lesson. Kudos for their recycling bins!

This Rest Area is very spacious! They have wifi, an info center, upscale vending and large bathrooms. The Rest Area is very new and clean, with automatic sliding doors at the entrance. There is a lot of parking for cars, Commercial Trucks and RV's.
