Nice rest area on I-80. Easy on and off the freeway. Restrooms are usually kept clean.

We drove across the country FAST. Didnt have time to take detours or see cool things along the way. Thats what made this stop so special for my wife and I. It was so cool! Got to get out and walk along the "snowy" salt shores of the flats. Took a lot of cool photos and ran around in the wind. The facility was clean and felt safe. It was all around just a lot of fun. So glad we got to see something special on our drive, really was a great memory we got to make together.

When you are traveling along I-80 in Utah it’s a long trip and this rest stop appears as a welcome oasis. It is kept clean and the car to truck parking is well separated so a quiet rest can be obtained. The viewing platform allows you to see across the vast flats to the mountains on the horizon

The side of the rest area going towards Salt Lake City was a nice rest Stop. The views on this side of the highway are not as awesome as the other side going towards Nevada. They do have lovely clean bathrooms with flush toilets and a viewing area that you can walk up and take pictures from. There are signs explaining things about the salt flats and also how the telephone wire were connected from the West to the East in 1914 fascinating!

Didn't know it was possible to enjoy a rest stop so much. I kind of want to make a special trip out here for like a picnic or something.
There was a little ramp to give you a view of the salt flats. There were a few Russian Olive trees which smelled great, especially after being in the car for several hours. There was a foot wash because why not.
