The store itself is alright, it's clean, people are polite. The truckers lounge needs new furniture and the showers need overhauling. There's no counter to set grooming tools on. The pressure is ok but the temperatures are unpredictable, the water was cold almost the whole time with a 20 second burst of nearly scalding water then right back to cold, and the shower heads are too low. The towels were clean and fresh though, which was nice.

Lots of parking spaces, but...
No prices on shelves, everything is way over priced, Subway charges $9.00 for a six inch sub! Lines are long at the cash registers, up to a 3 hour wait for a shower!

Shower took 15 mins to warm up and STILL didn't get hot, just tolerable. 10 o'clock at night and absolutely everything has shut down. Absolutely no redeeming qualities about this place.

It's a truck stop on the California border with over-inflated prices on everything including fuel. I only stopped there for 10 gallons to get me up the road to a better place. The inside is trashy there are no prices on any of the products and they are all over priced. The sorry people rip-off us hard-working truck drivers if it wasn't for us there would be nothing on their shelves and nothing in their fuel tanks. I will never stop here again

This Flying J is part of Whiskey Pete's hotel and casino. The convenience store is not a typical Flying J store, maybe a little nicer but not the same items you expect if accustomed to their stores. Pretty big lot for truck parking, including the parking behind the parking garage. A dirt road that goes out the back of the lot connects to many roads and is great for walking or running, maybe a bit loose in places for mountain biking.
