It's a stop going out of state or returning home. I was grateful that the stop wasn't a covid19 closure.

Great artwork. Toilets closed no water. Got on 76 South during 80 West construction. Worth a visit.

The first time we stopped here because my kids needed a break from being in the car. This is the nicest welcome center I have been to. Incredibly friendly people, very clean facilities. There are places to walk around, things to look at, just enough to stretch our legs and get back in the car again. We now stop here on purpose when going by!

A good place to rest for the night and very nice restrooms. Went back on the road before the main welcome center was open so I didnt get to see that part of it. But I can say I enjoyed the experience here overnight. Not too bright but not too dark, it felt very nice.

Rest area an Colorado welcome center. This is one of my favorite rest stops when driving between Colorado mountains and the prairie of Minnesota. I especially like the statues and metal sculptures that depict the historical and natural significance of the area. These include bison, teepees, a pony Express rider, and also a sandhill crane. There is also a nice walking path for stretching the legs on a long drive.
